This is an open and broad curation of ideas, thoughts, and projects exploring the frontiers of science, technology, and innovation. I'm a futurist and optimist who believes in envisioning and building the future we want to live in. Much of the content is organized into series—collections of related articles that build on each other to provide comprehensive coverage of complex topics. You can browse all series using the "Series" button in the navigation above, or discover them naturally as you explore. The content here represents deep dives into topics that fascinate me—from the physics of spin glasses to the search for life on ocean worlds, from quantum computing to fusion energy, from building interactive 3D visualizations to understanding how markets evolve. This is a work in progress.

Getting around

You can read this like any site: click a title, follow a link, use the contents on the left. You can also just ask. The line at the top is Ikonic's omni: type a few words, or say "computer" and speak, and it answers with a passage from my pages and where it came from. Try "find science", "show by time", or "what is this". On a phone the omni and the contents chips sit at the top. A three-dimensional cousin of the Mandelbrot set, drawn by distance estimation and ray marching in your browser. Try it out: drag to rotate, scroll to zoom into the surface. The topology shader that used to sit here lives on in GLSL 3D Fractals Series Index with the rest of the fractal series.
